and the finalist are…

Wimbledon finals is already set and it will be between T.Berdych and R. Nadal.

T. Berdych shocked the tennis world by ending the winning streak of R. Federer with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 quarterfinal victory.   He then continued his journey to the finals by eliminating N. Djokovic in a 6-3, 7-6 (9), 6-3 to reach his first Grand Slam title match.

Meanwhile, Britain’s hope for taking home the Wimbledon crown ended when A. Murray lost to R.  Nadal in an amazing three-setter match, 6-4, 7-6 (6), 6-4.  Although this would seem like an easy win by the World No. 1, it actually wasn’t.  Murray was brilliant and kept pace with Nadal all through out the game… But, just like the saying goes “There is always someone better than you”,  this time Nadal was the “better man”.

This will be a great Wimbledon finals (although not the one I was expecting…).  Will Rafa claim his 2nd Wimbledon crown? or will Berdych earn his first one?  I can’t wait for Sunday to come😀
